When setting a static IP address for an L2+ switch, a static route needs to be configured to point to the gateway address because the gateway address cannot be found.

Why isn't the Combo port up?

A Combo port is a logical interface. Physically, one Combo port corresponds to one electrical port and one optical port on the device panel. The electrical port and its corresponding optical port are opto-multiplexed; they cannot work simultaneously (when one interface is activated, the other is automatically disabled). Users can choose to use either the electrical port or the optical port according to their networking needs.

The ethernet port of the switch cannot be configured with an IP address. It can only bind the port to a certain VLAN, and then configure the IP address for the VLAN interface corresponding to the VLAN.

1. Have the customer confirm their internet connection. 2. Then check if the device can ping our cloud platform domain name. If it cannot ping the domain name but can ping the cloud platform address, it's a DNS issue.
